Description

naturalistically modelled standing on gilt-bronze legs and clawed feet, the head with a gilt-bronze beak and large eyes turned sharply to the side, the body enamelled in turquoise-blue with the plumage finely delineated by the cloisons, the wings folded

Condition

Both censers and covers are in very good condition with the exception of a tiny dent and possible re-touching to the enamels on the edge of one cover, and a tiny dent to the enamel on the other.
