Description

the lobed globular body rising from a short spreading foot to a tall waisted neck with everted lobed rim, covered overall in a rich lustrous flambe glaze, the interior glazed a buff tone with a matrix of grey crackles

Condition

The vase is in good overall condition with the exception of a three-pointed hairline starcrack extending diagonally across the base and partially onto the footring; a 6mm. diam glaze flake to the lower edege of the body; and light glaze scratches arounf the exterior.
