Description

the heavily potted body of pear shape, rising from a short spreading foot to a tall neck (reduced), covered overall in a thick pale grey glaze suffused with a matrix of grey and gold crackles

Condition

The vase has a reduced neck; a 1cm. wide bruise or possible broken section to the rim with an associated long hairline body crack running to the lower body; and two long hairline body cracks.
