Estimate
4,000 - 6,000 GBP
bidding is closed

Description

delicately potted, the ovoid body rising from a recessed base to a tall slightly flaring neck, encircled in high relief with a sinuous qilong, covered overall with an even pale green glaze and splashed with copper-red on the dragon and iron around the body in imitation of clouds, Qianlong seal mark to base

Condition

The vase is invery good condition with the exception of a minute chip to one of the chilongs horns and a tiny chip to the base of the footring. It should be noted that the glaze is of a far richer celadon tone than the catalogue illustration would suggest.
