Description
of elegant shouldered form, painted with classic lotus scrolls in copper-red and underglaze-blue around the body, the neck and foot with further petal-shaped and lappet foliate bands within double-line borders
Condition
The vase is broken into several pieces and restored. The colours of the vase are of a slightly softer tone than the illustration suggests.

This vase is comparable with meiping of the Qianlong period painted with a lotus scroll in this colour combination of copper-red and underglaze-blue.
