the deep straight sides rising from a flat base to a broad flaring lipped rim, finely painted to the interior with a medallion enclosing a large full-faced scaly five-clawed dragon in pursuit of a flaming pearl, all amidst ruyi-head cloud and fire scrolls, the sides of the interior and exterior each with six cusped panels enclosing a dragon in pursuit of a flaming pearl, all reserved on a diaper ground, the rim freely painted with bats in flight amidst cloud scrolls
Condition
The dish is in good overall condition with the exception of some small restored rim chips and frits (23, 6, 5, 3 and 3mm wide); some light glaze scratches; and some iron-spot glaze imperfections.
