Description

after a Portuguese original, the fluted ewer and basin well painted in underglaze-blue, iron-red and gilt with formal pendants

Condition

The ewer is in good overall condition with the exception of over-painting to the handle and down into the mouth of the vessel minor frits to the edges of the flutes and light rubbing and loss to the gilding. The basin has restoration to the tips of three lobes and minor wear and loss to the gilding.
