Description
the bird naturalistically modelled and brightly enamelled, perched atop a large pierced rock issuing branches of blossoming prunus, the head held high on a long arched neck and the wings neatly folded over its back and tail feathers
Condition
The peacock is in overall good condition. There is restoration to the branch and right leg of the peacock. Some scratching and rubbing to the enamel of the glaze. Some minor chips to the exposed parts, one small chip to the crest.
