Description

the gently curved sides rising from a short tapering foot to an everted rim, finely and brightly enamelled to the interior with a medallion enclosing a court scene, depicting the Emperor seated in his throne listening to a group of female musicians, encircled at the rim by a band of oval panels enclosing 'Precious Objects' reserved on alternating diaper grounds 

Condition

The dish has been broken into quarter sections and restored; in addition there is restoration to the edge of the majority of the rim; minor rim fritting; and rubbing and minor scratches to the enamels and glaze on the interior.
