Description
in the Kangxi style, painted with kylins, tigers and mythical beasts
Condition
The vases and covers are in good overall condition with the exception of restoration to a 10cm. wide crescent-shaped at the rim of one cover; a 5mm. wide shallow rim chip to the other cover; a 5cm hairline glaze firing line to the base of one jat and light glaze scratches around the body of both. It should be noted that the enamels are slightly brighter than the catalogue illustration would suggest.
