Description

the robustly potted body of baluster form rising from a concave base to a short broad tapering neck, freely painted around the exterior with a broad leafy floral band, all between a lotus-lappet band at the base and a pendant stiff leaf collar at the shoulder, the neck with a ruyi-shaped cloud band  

Condition

The jar is in very good condition with the exception of minor glaze firing imperfections and light glaze scratches. it should be noted that the glae is of a slightly greener tone than the catalogue illustration would suggest.
