cast standing, wearing full armour and holding a spear in both hands, his face with long beard and ferocious expression, all supported on a later, gilt-lacquered wood lion stand, traces of gilding
Condition
The bronze figure is in good overall condition with the exception of replacement to the top section of his spear; loss to the gilding; and a repair to a break actross the tail of the wood beast.
