Description
the baluster body risng from a short spreading foot to a broad shoulder and surmounted by a short narrow ribbed neck, covered overall with a soft bluish-green glaze
Condition
The vase is in good overall condition with the exception of: a pin-head glaze imperfection/hole (ca. 0.3cm) below the rim and four further pin-head iron spot glaze imperfection to the shoulder (as visible in the catalogue illustration). There are three small circular glaze pulls to the body (0.2-0.4cm) (one just visible in the catalogue illustration) and scattered pin-head iron glaze imperfections across the body. There is a small old chip (ca. 0.6cm) to the rim of the foot. There is very light overall rubbing and scratching to the glaze. The colour of the vase is of a slightly more olive-green tone than the illustration suggests.
