sitting astride a resting deer with a flower in his hand whilst holding onto a crane, the jade an olive and pale celadon colour, wood stand.

Condition

The carving is in good overall condition with the exception of some tiny chips to the extremities, i.e. sashes, leaves, deer's ears; loss to the front right hoof; and a vein running across the boy's back (ca. 2 cm). The colour of the jade is of a slightly more olive tone than the illustration suggests.
