Description

of rectangular form comprising a cover, a shallow upper tray above three stacked trays, each tier with a beaded lip extending the entire circumference, the corners enforced with yellow brass angles, the four corners of the flat top inlaid with a cloud-shaped brass plate, the handle rising from a stepped base with lateral supports on each side; together with a small huanghuali seal chest, 18th century

Condition

The picnic box is in good overall condition with the exception of: a small old chip (ca. 1cm) to the inside rim of the base. The small seal chest is in overall good condition.
