Description
carved in high-relief with mythical beasts frollicking among waves, a pavillion on a lingzhi fungus rising from the waves, a qilong with his head reaching into the cup forming the handle, the horn of a dark toffee tone
Condition
A triangular piece (3.4 cm long) at the front of the rim broken off and missing. Small part (ca. 1 cm) of one of the dragon's leg broken off and missing. Small part of the dragon's right hind thigh and leg damaged and with old restoration with a piece of wood or horn. End of the dragon's tail (ca. 1 cm) missing and with old restoration with a piece of horn. Two small age cracks (ca. 7mm) and small chip to the rim. Small area on one side where surface appears to have been restored (ca. 3cm).
