Description

rising from a straight foot to rounded sides and an everted rim, the exterior incised with a lively scene of boys playing games and musical instruments within an enclosed garden with pine trees and a lake beyond, all between upright lappets at the foot and a stylised floral border at the rim, the designs enamelled green and reserved on a bright lemon-yellow ground

Condition

There is a 3cm hairline crack extending from the rim (towards the boy on the right in the catalogue illustration). The interior has a few light firing cracks under the glaze on the base with a minute glaze pull. The actual color is less intense and less over saturated as in the catalogue illustration. Still, the overall condition is quite good.
