Description
intricately carved as a cluster of persimmon and grapes growing from intertwining leafy stems, with a squirrel clambering on the grape vines and blossoming prunus branches growing on the other side on which a magpie perches atop, with a pair of bugs crawling on the persimmon, the amber translucent golden brown in tone
Condition
There are three tiny old chips to the carving, one to the large stem on the reverse, one to a grape and one to a leaf on the base. Otherwise the carving is generally in good condition overall.
