Description
one side carved in high relief with an attendant and a sage holding a staff tied with a gourd strolling along the rocky banks of a river towards a group of scholars playing chess on a ledge, all set amidst a waterfall and pine trees, the reverse with a hidden path cutting through a mountain landscape of gnarled pine trees and rocky boulders, the greenish grey stone suffused with russet inclusions, wood stand

Condition
The overall condition is very good. There are natural veins and russet inclusions in the stone throughout, but there does not appear to be any chips or breaks apart from a couple minute nicks. The stone has been waxed and there are areas of imbedded waxy residue.
