Description

each with steep sides resting on a short foot, finely painted around the sides with three detached fruiting and flowering sprays of peach, pomegranate and melons, between a band of stylised lotus lappets around the foot and a classic scroll at the mouth, the interior with a central medallion enclosing a peach spray within a double circle, all below a further classic scroll under the rim, inscribed on the base with the six-character seal mark

Condition

The pair is in very good condition overall. The underglaze-blue to one bowl is slightly deeper and more purplish than the other.
