Description

depicting the three-headed and eight-armed goddess Ushnishavijaya seated in vajraparyankasana upon a high lotus pedestal, wearing bejewelled necklaces and armlets, holding its various associated attributes, with two figures of White and Green Tara at the bottom right and left respectively seated upon a lotus pedestal with its hands held in varada and vitarkamudra, and two groups of deities above, with Amitabha seated in the centre, set amid a dramatic mountainous landscape with a lotus pond issuing large blooms and auspicious emblems and with cloud swirls rising above, mounted on cloth brocade  

Condition

The painting has minor horizontal creases throughout the painting, however it does not detract from the overall painting. The colors are vibrant, but less saturated than in the catalogue illustration. The overall condition is quite good.
