painted with a scene of a lady flanked by Italian Comedy figures, the reverse with a flower spray, each enclosed by applied flowers and fruit and moulded gilt-edged rocailles, the shell-moulded foot applied with a figure of a nymph holding a flower basket, the pierced cover surmounted by a profusion of flowers and leaves
