A pair of French gilt-metal-mounted blue-ground vases and covers circa 1900

each reserved with a scene of an amorous couple in a landscape setting within elaborate gilt foliate scrollwork cartouches, the reverse of each with an oval river scene, the neck and cover each with two similar vignettes, applied with gilt-metal scroll handles with female head terminals and mounted on a classical gilt-metal base
