Description
- interlaced LL monograms enclosing date letter f (sometimes indistinct) and painter's mark, incised marks
- the tray: 25.4cm., 10in.
each piece painted by Étienne Evans with landscape vignettes depicting exotic birds, enclosed by blue acanthus scrolls and floral garlands on the tray, and floral garlands on the remaining pieces, the tray moulded on the outside rim with stylised tulips in arched panels over a band of lozenges in blue and gilt, the covers with flower finials with gilt leaves, comprising:
