modelled by Peter Reinicke, winding a hurdy-gurdy and carrying the peep-show on his back, wearing a black hat, grey jacket with gilt buttons, green waistcoat and purple breeches, the base modelled with gilt-edged scrolls and applied with leaves and flowers

Modelled by Reinicke in 1753-54 after the drawing by Huet of 1753 inscribed: 'No 27 Ch - ein Savoyard mit einer Laterne magique, und welcher seinen Orgelkasten vor sich hat n 18 1753' [...a Savoyard with a magic lantern, and who has his organ case in front of him...].
