Description

  • 16.75cm., 6½in.
of greenish tint, the slightly flared cylindrical form with everted rim, double-walled foot and kick-in base, painted with Adam and Eve flanking the Tree of  Knowledge with entwined serpent, the reverse with stylised flowers, inscribed Wellicher dags Du von diessen Baum Istes sol du deß dottes Sterben ANNO 1678, a gilt band above and three concentric rings below
