This portrait copies the right hand side of a diptych by Isenbrandt, dated 1513, now in the collection of the Lowe Art Museum, University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida. The left hand side of the diptych depicts the Virgin and Child. A copy of the left side (and the probable mate to the present panel) was offered for sale at the Dorotheum, Vienna, April 24, 2007, lot 110 (as by Ambrosius Benson).
