- Still Life of Flowers in a Vase Resting on a Stone Ledge
- oil on canvas.
- 30 1/4 by 25 in.

Provenance
MacConnal-Mason & Son, Ltd., London (from a label on the reverse).
Condition
The canvas is relined. The painting surface is clean and the painting is presentable. The paint surface has been slightly pressed in the aforementioned relining. However most of the flowers retain very nice detail and coloration, but with some loss of detail and definition in the background leaves.
Under ultraviolet light: an old, repaired 'L' shaped tear is visible in the lower right corner. There are some scattered retouches to the vase, some small retouches to the white flowers in the center and some retouches to the orange lilies at center right. There are a few retouches in the background areas and some at the edges. Otherwise, the main body of the flowers appears to be in good state. The restorations have been well applied and there is no need for further work.
In an elaborate, carved, gilt wood frame, with stylized leaves along the inner and outer edges.
