Condition

Lined canvas. A repaired puncture under the left eye; a couple of small chips to varnish at center left and some frame abrasion along the edges. Very fine craquelure. Under UV light: retouching to eyes, nose, mouth and hat; substantial repaint to background at lower left and upper left.
