Canvas is not lined. SURFACE: in good condition, generally; craquelure throughout--minor crazing in several places in sky and on rump of brown horse ridden by cavalry man; dirty varnish UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: no apparent inpainting (dark old varnish is hard to see through)
