Lined canvas. Surface is stable but with largely-spaced craquelure; repaint visible with naked eye in the white shirt at center left; dirty varnish. Under UV light: inpainting at center left; fine retouching to the central figures, to a small line at bottom center and on the arm and face of left figure.
