Condition
Cradled panel. The paint surface is stable and under a glossy varnish, particularly on the green tapestry around Mary's head. That area shows some repairs to paint loss. The entire surface has very fine craquelure, which is slightly raised in the lower half. Under UV light: inpainting to a few cracks in panel at upper edge; substantial inpainting on the green tapestry; fine retouching to all flesh-colored areas of both figures and to Mary's blue cloak.
