Condition
Canvas is very tightly relined and it is bowing at bottom. The paint surface is under a slightly yellowed varnish. Paint surface appears healthy with nice retention of detail throughout. Overall, the painting presents a decorative image. Ultra violet light reveals some scattered touches of strengthening throughout sky and some small touches here and there in foliage, architecture and figures. These, however, are mostly cosmetic.
In an unpainted plain dark wood, Dutch style frame.
