gilt bronze, ivory and black slate, modelled as a slender young woman dressed in a long sleeved costume and poised on one leg on a circular, rocky base and octagonal pedestal

Condition

An elegant and attractive model. Patina is slightly less yellow than the illustration suggests. There are some small areas of wear and scratching to the gilt surface in places and some signs of re-touching to the gilding, in particular on the base. There are some traces of old dirt among the details on the hand and face. There is some chipping to the marble around the screw hole on the underside of the base. A rare model in good overall condition. Please note that this lot contains ivory which may be subject to export and import restrictions. For example, ivory cannot be imported into the United States.
