Condition

A charming figure in overall good condition. Patina very slightly lighter than the illustration suggests. Very minor marks in places to the patinated surface. There is a tiny circular `plug' in the ivory at the top of the figure's right arm but this is not immediately obvious. Patina in very good condition, which may suggest it has been retouched. There are two very small flaws in the onyx at the bottom of the base which has been covered with a self-adhesive baize type material. Please note that this lot contains ivory which may be subject to export and import restrictions. For example, ivory cannot be imported into the United States. Your attention is drawn to the Endangered Species section in the Guide for Prospective Buyers at the back of the catalogue (Section 4).
