Condition

A well carved example of this model. There are some cracks to the ivory: to either side of her parting, from her left shoulder blade over her shoulder and between her breasts and through her navel. There are further cracks through both shoulders and another from the base of her spine to her buttocks. These are partially visible in the illustration. There is some light wear to the gilding on the robe. On a later wooden plinth. This figure would have originally have included a necklace. This is a well carved example of this pleasing subject. Please note that this lot contains ivory which may be subject to export and import restrictions. For example, ivory cannot be imported into the United States.
