Condition

An impressive and stylish group. The largest size available of this desirable model. With a softer patina than the catalogue illustration suggests. There are typical cracks running down their forearms. The fingers to her right hand have been restored. Small traces of glue in places suggesting the ivory has been re-affixed. Old marks and scratches consitent with age. Some wear to the painted decoration. One or two minor nicks to the base. Overall, an honest example in good overall condition. Please note that this lot contains ivory which may be subject to export and import restrictions. For example, ivory cannot be imported into the United States. Your attention is drawn to the Endangered Species section in the Guide for Prospective Buyers at the back of the catalogue (Section 4).
