inside of cover painted 'G.O.H. / Designed & executed / by Fleetwood C. Varley / Campden Glos. Aug 1905' and with Guild's mark to side
- 6.5cm. high by 23cm. long by 13.5cm. wide;
- 2½in., 9in., 5¼in.
copper and enamel, the plaque depicting a mountain reflecting in a lake, the interior lined with cedar wood
Condition
A decorative piece of good overall appearance. With minor old marks and scratches commensurate with age. The plaque with some surface dirt and remains of polish particularly to edges. Corners and edges of cover slightly bent. Of good overall condition.
