- applied `five churches' mark and impressed, `1108'
- 23.5cm.;
- 9 1/4 in.
earthenware, modelled as a naked woman, her cloak forming the vase, covered in richly coloured `Eosin' glazes
Condition
There is some crazing to the glaze overall but this is not unsightly, and there is an old restored chip to the right hand side of the cloak. This is approx. 1.5cm. long. There is some minor surface scatching but overall this is a well modelled and well coloured piece.
