- gilt mark, `DAUM, NANCY' and cross of Lorainne
- 24.4cm.;
- 9 1/2 in.
enamelled and gilt glass, the mottled pink and green ground painted en grisaille with trees and a lake, a church in the distance, the foreground enamelled with a wildflower meadow
Condition
A large example of this type of vase. There is some very minor wear to the gilding on the rim and some very minor `nibbling' to the interior rim. There is wear and scratching to the underside of the foot consistent with age and wear to the gilt mark. Colours are overall more intense than suggested by catalogue illustration.
