silver plate and enamel mounted glass, the deep purple ground with silvery blue spotted decoration, the silver mounts pierced with geometric motifs and heightened with three applied enamel plaques

A large and striking example. There are some small splits in the silver plated mounts and some lifting of the foil. The glass is in good condition with some typical wear to the underside of the foot consistent with age. The silver speckling on the vase itself is clearer and more pronounced than it appears in the catalogue illustration.
