Description

  • underside with JH and AW (Adolf Wertnik) monograms, WW and rose mark
  • 44.5cm. high by 31.7cm. wide by 12cm. deep;
  • 1ft 5½in., 1ft ½in., 4¾in.
hammered brass, the curved edges flanking a door with a bevelled mirror enclosing a void interior with fittings for adjustable shelves

Condition

Minor old marks and scratches commensurate with age. Mirror plate with areas of foxing and streaks to silvering; probably replaced. The piece has been polished. Shelves and supports to interior lacking, but fittings for adjustable positions present. A decorative piece ready for display.
