Description

  • A centrepiece
  • with designer's and maker's initials, WW and rose mark and Diana head
  • 10cm. high by 21cm. diam.
  • 4in., 8¼in.
silver coloured metal with pierced squares, the circular top on four legs joint by lobed bands

Condition

Piece does not sit perfectly flush. Metal tarnished and with small blemishes. Some soldering marks to underside of tray and the inner circular surface with second tray later inset. Tray is not a perfect circle and appears to have been re-shaped. Two vertical supports have been re-attached to the upper gallery. Hallmarks are crisp and easy to read. The Diana head under magnification is a 2A for 900 standard and Viennese manufacture. Rose mark very slightly cut off to one edge.
