Catalogue Note

Ercole Barovier designed a group of thick walled pieces in 1935-36 using decorative techniques, including: Crepuscolo, Autunno Gemmato, Marina Gemmata and Laguna Gemmata. This piece is typical of the soft shapes used during this period which differ greatly from the lighter, more brightly coloured pieces produced in the years following the Second World War.
