Description
- Haut. 26 cm ; 10.23 in.
Condition
In overall good condition. As mentioned in the catalogue, one of the ring handles missing and
one of the cover tops (under the finial) later replaced. At one time, the perfume burners were fixed probably on wooden bases as each foot rim is piereced with four very small holes ; the other possibility is that there would have been a rope frieze like on the cover, which is now lacking.
Marks under the medium friezes : on one, town and date marks very legible, maker partly legible ; on the other one, date very legible, town and maker's marks partly legible. Covers unmarked.
Quite light, very nice pattern, very elegant
