Description
- a marble group of Venus and Cupid
reclining on a couch carved with crumpled drapery, Venus looks upwards whilst holding the naked Child tenderly playing with her ear, on pink marble base
Condition
Overall the condition of the marble group appears to be very good. The proper left foot of Venus may have been re-attached and there has been some restoration to the toes of that foot.
