- A fruitwood corpus on boxwood cross
finely carved perizonium, mounted on boxwood cross, stepped base with ivory stringing and mounted with two ivory finials
Condition
Overall the condition of the corpus is very good with some hairline vertical splits to the boxwood. The arms have been carved separately and the joint is visible at the shoulders. The condition of the cross and the base is good with some minor wear to the surface. The INRI plaque is missing from the cross.
