Description

  • a bohemian gilt copper mounted glass tankard
facetted body with foliate scrolls, the gilt copper mounts with pierced thumb piece, the lid centred by a spherical knop

Condition

Overall the tankard is in very good condition. The sleeve mount around the glass handle is loose, but could easily be tightened. The base mount appears to have been trimmed and there is a small area of loss to it's edge as well as some minor greening. The glass is in good condition.
