Description

  • a polychrome wood group of God the Father
from a Trinity Group, the seated figure holds the cross before him, applied with a later bronze corpus

Condition

The polychromy is refreshed and worn as visible in the catalogue photograph. The corpus has been lost and later replaced. There appears to have been a small area of restoration to the centre at the bottom edge. There is some minor worming and the back of the figure may have been shaved. The back has been applied with later paint.
