Three ship models of the 'Wappen von Hamburg' by Krick (1667), a 'Kogge' by Krick and the 'Berlin' (1674) by Graupner 20th century

the 'Wappen von Hamburg' was comissioned in 1667, elaborate sculpture work was made under the guidance of Precht. From 1669 to 1683, the ship served as an escort vessel on several expeditions, e.g. to Spitzbergen; the frigate 'Berlin' was build in 1674 in the Netherlands under Kurfürst Friedrich Wilhelm von Brandenburg and formed part of a fleet first used against the Swedish, later for the activities of the Brandenburgisch-Afrikanische Handelskompanie; the 'Berlin' was one of the fleet's first ships
